You can get plenty of upgrades for your truck that will make it handle better, make hauling heavier loads easier and so on and this is great. In terms of the gameplay, what we have here is kind of hard to talk about. I think that this fictional place has a nice amount of diversity to it and this means that there is plenty of ways for you to be able to show off your truck driving skills. The game world that is on offer here is a decent size, but it is not quite the level of a Euro Truck Simulator or American Truck Simulator, but this is still a very decent-sized open world that Truck Driver has given you to play in. Not only this, but you will be communicating with the other people in this town and getting to know them a bit better and I thought this made the hauls you were doing more “personal” if that makes sense. You have inherited a truck from your late father and you decide that the best way to honor your father is to try and become the best damn truck driver around. You are not just a nameless truck driver here there is a point and reason to be doing what you are doing and I think that is kind of cool. The two other trucking games that I was talking about are American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator and I love those games! What makes Truck Driver a bit different is that it is more story-driven. What really drew me to this game is that I liked the idea that it was not a 100 percent simulation style of game like these tend to be. I am a real sucker for truck driving games and I have spent tons of time with the main big two games that this genre has to offer. Truck Driver is a game that has been on other systems for a while now, but it is finally making its way to STEAM.
